DESCRIPTION:Join Helen McCormick for a creative workshop where you will learn how to make a beautiful dragon sculpture. \nJoin Helen for this hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to sculpt your very own dragon from rich terracotta clay. Helen will guide you step by step through traditional hand-building methods\, helping you shape\, form\, and bring your mythical creature to life. \nAs the workshop progresses\, you’ll discover how to add texture and intricate details\, refining your masterpiece into a striking\, one-of-a-kind work of art. \nAll materials and equipment will be provided. Tea and Coffee will be available throughout the workshop. The only thing you need to bring is a packed lunch and an apron or wear old clothes. \nAfter the workshop\, Helen will carefully take your sculpture home and fire it in my kiln. These sculptures are not glazed as the terracotta will age beautifully in your garden over time. Your sculpture will be ready to collect approximately 6 weeks after the workshop from the Walronds. Helen will let you know the date and time. \nNB: Helen is happy to store your work for 6 months from the collection date\, after which time your work will be donated to charity. \nThere is FREE parking at the Walronds. The carpark is located at the back of the building. To access the carpark you will need to turn up Tiverton Road off the High Street\, and then turn left just before the fire station onto Shortlands Lane. It is a narrow lane and easily missed. Drive a few yards up the lane and you will see the sign for the carpark on the left. Turn left and follow the drive through the gate ahead.
